This two-hour guided tour is entirely devoted to discovering the most iconic monument of the city: Murcia Cathedral. A true architectural jewel, the Cathedral stands as a synthesis of centuries of art and history, reflecting the evolution of the city itself.

We will begin with an exterior tour, admiring the magnificent Baroque façade, one of the most spectacular in Spain, and exploring the different architectural elements that reveal the building’s Gothic origins and later Renaissance and Baroque transformations. From there, we will move inside the temple to discover its chapels, main altar, choir and artistic treasures, learning about the historical context in which each part was built.

The visit also includes the Cathedral Museum, where we will see remarkable works of sacred art, paintings, sculptures and liturgical objects that help us better understand the spiritual and artistic importance of the Diocese of Cartagena. At the end of the tour, participants will have the option to climb the bell tower, the second tallest in Spain, to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Murcia and its surrounding landscape.

This small group tour is led by an official licensed tourist guide, a history graduate and specialist in architecture and historical heritage, ensuring a rigorous, engaging and insightful experience.

Meeting point. We'll meet at the Apostles' Gate, one of the side entrances to the Cathedral. It's located on Apóstoles Street. If you prefer a different meeting point, you can suggest it when booking.
